I thought the comment about &quot;family driven faith&quot; versus &quot;faith driven family&quot; was perceptive.  There&#039;s one thing I keep coming back to with exalting the family to the center of the mission of the gospel:  What about people who have no family?  It seems they have a small part to play in Baucham&#039;s model.  I think it&#039;s right for Baucham to reject our culture&#039;s understanding of family, and even to raise the family up to a level where it is seen and appreciated.  But it&#039;s wrong to make it so central to everything the church does.
