OPPORTUNITIES TO SERVE
There are many opportunities to serve with SojournKids. We’ve listed just a few of them below. If you are interested in serving, please complete the online service application and background check authorization. A background check is required for all service positions. Download a copy of your rights under the fair credit reporting act here.
Service Coordinators lead hospitality, enforce policies and procedures, and lead the service team for one SojournKids gathering.
Area Leaders for the nursery, preschool, and elementary areas are lead teachers in the area, and they lead an area team in weekly prayer and after-service evaluation at one SojournKids gathering.
Classroom Teachers and Helpers communicate biblical truth through creative, age-appropriate means, and they extend Christ’s love by engaging children relationally and providing oversight for one SojournKids classroom.
Hospitality Team Members work with the service coordinator to welcome all guests with gospel hospitality and help escort children to their classrooms, gatherings, and small groups.
SojournKids Band Members use instrumental gifts to model Christian worship by leading kids in a regular music service.
Weekday Cleaning/Supply/Art Project Team Members aid the SojournKids by helping to do intensive cleaning, inventory/purchase supplies, wash linens, and design/set up special art projects and learning centers for the children’s ministry.
